Medieval II Total War

Love the total war games... I'm back in my hometown for a few weeks staying with my parents / the missus parents and was hoping to install Medieval II on my dads PC as its got more ram and a better graphics card than my laptop...

Forgot my manual though so I don't have the CD key. Was wondering if anyone had their CD key handy so I can install it.

The CD key is also used sometimes as a security measure to defend against theft of the product. In other words, it can only be on one computer at a time.

is it legel 2 provide the key 2 some1 else?

Really? Thought it was only if you used it to play online that it had to be unique... I'm sure I've had it installed on 2 pcs at the same time before...

Not exactly... I'm not fishing for an illegal crack or anything. I can take a photo of the CDs with anything you like written next to them if anyone is worried or thinks I'm a dodgy kinda chap :D

if mods think this is too sketchy feel free to delete it... Just would appreciate someone PMing me a key so I can so conquer Europe...

You have to have the unique key to install for more recent games. I tried with AoE 3, and it didn't work. I think this is a similar situation. I guess you'll have to live with low ram and poorer graphics.

Its not installed anywhere at the moment, that's the thing. I brought the CDs back but not the manual. Could someone not just PM me just so I can try? I'm back for a month and I'd really like to play...

Brilliant game-even got it as an avatar

one of the best things though is the mods that come out, so far for rome ive got a really good lord of the rings version and a napolionic version. Ive not found any for medieval yet but thay'll come out soon

Yes, I believe it is somewhat like a serial number where you have to enter the one that's unique to that cd.
