I've played this many different ways before and I've seen players win with even more different strategies. Let's throw away the variable of the map and reinforcements, because, of course each requires different strategies... but let's talk about:
You're getting the largest bonus and may have the largest troop count. You don't know, cause its foggy. The spoils are flat rate, so after reading game log you have an idea of where everyone (4-8 players) is and how large they are becoming. The question though, becomes:
Are you complacent sitting where you are? slightly leading? Or do you slowly continue to expand?
Keep in mind that the other players can see you're bonus is largest. Does sitting still (carding each round only) leave you more susceptible (generally) or does moving out and breaching other's territories leave you more susceptible?
Do you try to hide troops? (for example, a one way attack position, so they can attack but cannot be seen?)
Thanks for your thoughts. I know each map and number of players and level of players always requires a different strategy, but let's talk.
