lots and lots of mods

when I started visiting these forums a long long time ago. back then the mods hardly ever game out to talk there was a lot less of them. And everyone complained about the lack of mods presence. Fast forward to now and now there are more mods that visit the forms then well normal cc users. I kinda find it interesting well what do you guys think of it?

Agree with squishy: there are probably the same number or even fewer actual moderators than before. There are MANY more people who volunteer in certain departments to facilitate the fun of the site, but they don't actually moderate.

i like CC, so i stepped up to volunteer. personally, i think a lot of people complain but don't want to pitch in. perhaps the newest crop of volunteers are likeminded.

honestly, i don't think our post count reflects the improvements of cc.

Agreed. I mean I post in the forum purely out of enjoyment. I am a chat moderator which means my only duty is to the Chat room. But I am still in the forums because it's fun.

Moreover we will have shiny little icons under our names proudly declaring to non party members (oops, I mean non shiny icon holders) what we are so as to remind them that to not be a fully fledged member of the apparatchik is indeed a failing on their part.

The last box of crayons that Lack got for his birthday has 64 colors or shades of. The way I figure it lots more colored names to come.

Everyone complained about the lack of mods presence? What conquer club were you on? Everyone loved the lack of mods presence it made us all feel so free and we got to do as we wished, until AC Iceman and Twill put a stop to that and oppressed all of the many off topics users. Making new rules to suit their idea of fun and throwing all of us under the bus. Not to mention being heavily biased towards one political side. Now finally 3 years later it's actually fixed itself that with so many mods in the community and contributing, the mods tend to make less stupid decisions and act fairer. Though I don't know why AOG just got banned...

how? what did you say that was bad? why would a mod do that? you said nothing wrong. at all you listed your opinion of a situation that i asked for. You did what you where supposed to within the rules of the forum you, stayed on topic the whole time and where added to what i asked for in this thread. And they give you a warning for that. but if you continue with your off topic remarks like aog you get banned. what do they want us to do?
