cheap Tactics?

Postby JCR on Tue Oct 26, 2010 5:07 pm

Game 7709610
No offense to lesser experienced players, but I am far more interested in some of the vets opinions on this.
In this game Humrlmo tagged me for using cheap tactics. I asked him why and his response was basically that I convinced another (inexperienced) player to attack him so that I could sweep the board. At the time I simply considered this diplomacy. I respect his opinion and he is free to rate me how he likes, but I am curious if any of the more experienced players share this opinion?

Not cheap at all. Diplomacy is completely legitimate and your diplomacy was very unobjectionable (you didn't even ask for a truce)

This is part of the game...convincing people to play different in a way that can help you for multi player games and not cheap tactics IMO.

Thanks for the opinion guys. I didnt think I was out of line considering I have seen (and said) much worse. I thought maybe the "etiquette" changed within the higher ranks/private games.

Sounds like someone was just pissed off that your diplomacy worked against him, and is a sore loser.
