Who is blakebowling & why is he able to lock Sugs threads?

I had posted a suggestion in the Sugs forum a month or so ago. It was a legitimate suggestion and the form was filled out correctly. Anyway after the initial burst of responses it died down and nobody had said anything on it for a couple of weeks. Then this morning I find it's been unilaterally locked and moved to "archived rejected suggestions" by this cat named blakebowling who I've never heard of and isn't apparently any kind of mod. Is it just that he has been given powers but not a colored ID or am I missing something here? Here's the link to my thread, the idea was to create a
"This ____ is offensive to me" subforum in C&A.

I'd still like to know why the thread was locked, seems a bit over the top especially considering nobody had even posted in it for two weeks.

Alright, I have unlocked said thread, if more support is shown for your suggestion, I will move it back into the Suggestions area. blake is new to the team, and does not yet know the in's and out's of how we work things. The reason he is not colored green, is because his default group is not set as "Suggestions Team".

Thanks Mr. One, well handled! No hard feelings blake, everyone's gotta learn the ropes sometime and we all make mistakes!
