Ugh I beg to differ. Hennigan played tons of classic, before he moved over to world 2.1 Hennigan also loves to play the games best players. L M S played ?'s. That is no way to tell skill. People should look at who henni plays before lumping him with others.

He was playing for points, which is fine, but it's illegal to target new recruits.

And I'm sure someone's going to say that he wasn't targeting them - that this is his favorite gametype and they just happened to join his games.

Well, guess what? I'm sure he does have a lot of fun playing these games. Who wouldnt? Half his opponents drop out, and the other half have no idea how to play, so he can dominate. Fun!

In my opinion is is completely different to farm ?'s and low rankers...for one the fact that you can play as many low rankers as you want but farming ?'s is in fact against the rules. Second low rankers are less likely to just completely deadbeat out of a game from round 1.

yeah every now and then a ?'s will turn out to be a decent player however, a ?'s score will often be overstated compared to his skill...also ?'s cant join commanders games because they are team games and on the list of blocked maps. While LMS's games are basically new recruit magnets. The main problem i have with this is that anyone with their medal cant play those games while all those playing it to get medals can still take credit for a score they achieved while "medal hunting" by farming new recruits. LMS is a great player and I don't wish to start a fight here but i don't agree with his game selection. Yeah anyone is welcome to join them but those games fill with ?'s really fast after he starts them based on how fast they make it to the front page for ?'s its as simple as that.

Yes, I played 10 Das Schloss doubles games over the past month with Nikola_Milicki, against feeble competition. We gained 64 points apiece.

I did not start any games. Nik invited me because he is going for medals. In fact, my limited experience in these games has helped me in the challenge against LoW.
I keep 70 active games. 64 points over the course of a month is absolutely nothing... I gain or lose more than that in a single day.
LMS gained 1500. You are rather thick if you can't see the difference. It's nice to stand up for a friend and all, but not if you're shoving forth idiotic viewpoints.
And finally: we were not facing new recruits. Therefore, it isn't against CC's rules. LMS did face mainly new recruits.

No, I will not be dropping my 6 waiting games. They are a favor that I am doing for Nik to help him get his medal, and that is real shit, not the BS excuse that LMS put forth in an attempt to justify his scandalous actions. When you're starting 5-player freestyle games, you are obviously targeting new recruits.

Let me reiterate: 64 points in month, when you have 70 team games active at any given time, is nothing.

What I do is nothing like what LMS did, and should never have been brought into this. Shame on you, Hippie.

OK, so NRs won't be joining, but does anyone seriously expect Ljex's team to lose this game? I personally don't see anything wrong at all with his tactic, but clearly it is a bit hypocritical to accuse L M S of what he is accusing him of when he is doing something like this:

the multi hunters have already dealt with LMS farming... According to CC's farming rules LMS broke them (whether we agree with them or not).. like Blitz, Emmd and others have done inviting low ranks to be on ur team is not against the rules.. so Ljex is in the clear.. its as easy as that as per the CC leaders...

LMS broke the rules by starting games? He had no say over who joined them and wasn't specifically targetting new recruits. Therefore, he DID NOT break any rules. The MHs seem to have contacted him to advise that as it is clear NRs are joining the games most of the time, perhaps he shouldn't make them anymore.

Either way, this thread was to congratulate LMS on an excellent achievement. And many of the posters have wanted to detract from that. Shame on you all.

That would be fine if not for viewtopic.php?f=239&t=100025&hilit=krapht. There is precedent to say that if you know a game is going to fill with ?'s that you can be held accountable. There is also precedent to say that if you are going for medals you are ok. Also if he really enjoyed the games that much why not make them 6 player so ?'s cant join and then maybe get some real competition...im sure it wouldnt change the game that much. Either way I am fine with him achieving general and have congratulated him already...i know how hard it is and he is a great player. Its the farming of new recruits to do so that bothers me...often their score is higher than their skill and they will just deadbeat from the game when they never return to the site.
