Friends Question

Okay so my Friends List currently looks something like this:

dani992
natty_dread
-------------------------
Army of GOD
The Bison King

I don't understand the line and the bolding and italicizing. Plus, they swap around a lot, too.

In case someone else comes across this post, Bold and above the line = Online; while Italics and below the line = Offline.
