Defense vs. Attack ... how to win this

Looking to keep my bonuses to keep my troops up but everyone is inching closer. Any thought or ideas on how to win this?

try to retake n-italy, build on your border and do not attack. just build..
if you do not attack it may be you will be percieved to be less of a threat.
flat rate is not enough bonus to waste your troops and getting other people angry.. then build on all your borders. once you can totally conquer teal, only then must you attack.. never before. not even for a card.

I agree. Grab N Italy and just build and build. Keep grabbing cards though.

Knock all other players out of the game by defeating all of their armies. Then you'll win.

Teal is getting to strong ... don't i need to get other territories?
