If you sent a PM to me, it must've been intercepted by the continuum transfunctioner because I don't have one waiting in my inbox.

The issue was with the database server. Lack is looking into some tweaks to make performance better (though it has been pretty good since we had that last string of slow-downs this past summer).

As it may have come to your attention the continuum transfunctioner was stolen at 1:28 AM EST at returned at 1:44 AM. Fellow CC member tdans in a valiant effort found the continuum transfunctioner and duly deserves a general contribution medal. Upon hearing of his official nomination for the general contribution medal, tdans suggested that I myself receive a medal for putting him up for nomination.
