premium and paypal

Postby Smh on Mon Sep 20, 2010 9:54 am

Hello,

I have some money on my paypal account, and wanted to buy premium.

But when I try, it tells me I need to add a credit card( which I do not have).

Is it not possible to simply send the money I have on my paypal account directly to CC, without using a credit card?

Thanks ahead for responding

PayPal uses Credit Cards (or bank accounts I think) to validate you are who you say you are.

From PayPal's Website wrote:U.S. Users. You need to have a credit card or confirmed bank account with PayPal before you can send any payments.

Non-U.S. Users. You need to add a credit card before you can send any payments.

Read the "Sending Payments" https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?c ... ms-outside

That's a shame, the only way for me is with a credit card. I guess I'll have to remain freemium.

But thanks for the help guys =)

You can always try purchasing a pre-paid/pre-loaded Credit Card from a convenience store. Or you can always have a friend purchase a Gift Certificate for you (and you can choose to re-pay them or not). Moreover, play in some Tournaments---a lot of Premium Membership as a prize. And keep an eye out for any [Official Events] which may have avenues for acquiring Premium Membership for free.

I don't have a credit card and had no problem paying with paypal from the UK. You just need to link your paypal account to your bank account, which takes 3 or 4 days. Log into paypal and follow the instuctions for linking to a bank account.
