There's 3 town and 2 mafia dead, which in my opinion are good proportions. Why would you say that's not "ending well"? In my opinion it's not really a problem to wait for it another night, since we still have advantage over the mafia.

On the other hand, I believe that you're trying to get a lynch to work, and as you have already said, the scumtells won't be strong and will most probably be wrong. Means you're saying we should try and kill a mafia, even though the chances of stringing up an important townie, or forcing an important townie to roleclaim, are pretty big, and even if the townie we string up is not that important, you're only helping the bad guys.
For me that seems enough reason to vote Mr. Squirrel.

Safari, as you say yourself, it's a bad scumtell. Naxus is the only guy voting fircoal, so there's no threat. Secondly, scum don't do that. Thirdly, read my post.

The proportions are fine, but we have been getting them based on pure luck. There have been very little discussion during the day and so our night actions have been haphazard. Roleclaims generally do help the scum, but theres a point where even town needs to find out who is who. Every time we no lynch we have a very small day discussion. Its because people are putting off doing any scum hunting until the next day. We all are just hoping for a concrete answer during the night that probably won't show up unless we have some sort of discussion today. Our cop is dead and we have lost two bodyguards. Unless edocsil really heavily stacked the town, I'm guessing we have no more investigators or protectors. So we are guaranteed losses with no guarantee for information. That is why I am pushing for a lynch today.

Consider our options. We can either have no discussion today and then once we find out who the scum has killed, we will all be baffled and have no idea what to do since we got no information the day before, OR we can throw around some accusations, find a few scum tells, maybe lose a townie, but then tomorrow have a much larger chance at finding scum. With the amount of scum dead I am guessing that we only have one more to kill. Getting one good day of discussion and one lucky night could win us the game.

I have had this debate in nearly every mafia game I have been in. IMO lynches help town much more than they do scum.

I'm guessing that there are 4 scum total. 3 would only be possible if everyone else except Sensfan is a vanilla towny, which we aren't, I think. But that's not really the point we should argue about.
Since Leliana's ability only will grow stronger as the game develops, I think there's another role that does the opposite (i.e. get weaker in late-game). But then I can't prove it and I won't hold my vote based on such speculations.

I'm seeing a deadline tomorrow in the topic title. Who should we lynch, then, according to you?

Most mods wouldn't kill for telling someone to post, but some might. I am a bit more lax, although I would prefer if you asked me to do, because then I know who has been prodded and who has not.

I prodded Naxus and Fircoal, Firecoal will be posting shortly. Because Naxus has his activity hidden, I have no idea how ling it has been since he has been on. Prodded Cena too.

Personally I think that if we all said that we couldn't add much to the conversation then I think that nothing would get done or worse the scum could roll all over us. The no lynches of the past two days have put us in a bad spot and I don't think we can afford another no lynch. We don't have much to go on. During my read I found no huge scum tell and I no one has posted something concrete. Sadly that means in order to be able to lynch we may just have to go after a submariner.

1. jrl332005 Replaced By Fircoal - I am the epicness that makes everything great great. There is no possible reason to lynch me. I'm as pro-town as pro-town gets.

2. Mr. Squirrel - While his actions seem somewhat strange to me I wouldn't really call him scum. He's done quite a bit to try to make the game active but hasn't really provided much either. I have a feeling that he could be scum but he also seems pro-town.

7. Safariguy5 - He's sharing a bit but I think he could be saying more. While he doesn't seem to be as quiet as Nazus, he seemed pretty eager to no lynch and have another night phase:

Sounds scummy to me

8. Naxus - Seems to not really want to contribute much. He hasn't really many any attempt to try to finger anyone or find any scumtells. I personally think he's playing carefully because he's scum. However I also feel that he could be a townie with a boring role and isn't that emotionally invested.

9. Aage - Seems useful and pro-town to me. Not much more than that.

10. Wercool - Hasn't posted much and for sure as a night action that involves pming (though thinking about that, that could be anything). His lack of posting and lack of trying to find information seems scummy to me. Sort of like Naxus but less blatant with it.

11. Sensfan - Pro-town and no reason to believe that he's not.

Game: Considering there are 12 players in this game it is likely that there are 3 or 4 mafia members. Now being a mod I'd more likely put in 3 mafia members and some roles like SK but it's possible that he made it 4 and put in a bunch of townie power-roles. If there are only 3 mafia members and an SK (if there even is one) we are in no danger as if we mislynch we not only get the chance that the two crosskill each other but we'll end up able to lynch one of them the next day, and then have Sen kill the other. If there is no SK then we're in an even better situation as we basically have 2 mislynchs that we can do. If there are 4 mafia there will likely not be an SK as that would be too many baddies against the town. Especially considering the dead townies aren't super strong I highly doubt an SK. That means that we have a mislynch that would be very important to use so we can make a rational judgement the next day if we miss. In any of these scenarios we have to make sure that Sens does not shoot the next night. Since we don't know how many mafia there are, if he hits wrong he could lose us the game. D:

I am personally suspicious of Mr. Squirrel, Safari, Naxus, and Wercool. I think that Squirrel is trying more than the other three and thusly shouldn't be our first choice. I'd go with Wercool or Naxus first mainly because they seem to have the least amount of things to be said, however I think that Safari may have the biggest scumtell with the quotes I brought up, but still that's not very big.

Actually i have a reason reading back trough the topic on why my votes still on fircoal but its a little shaky. Night one duday protected sensefan and sens killed foxglove. Duday was a retaliatory bodygaurd so that means either it was a bulletproof SK/Vig or the mafia did it and the retaliation was negated.

If the mafia did kill duday then that was thier kill for night one. I can claim the kill on Medefe for night 2.I'd rather not reveal my role but if you want me to let me know. Then cena and colton killed each other( coltons first life being the random day scene we had i think). So for night two the Mafia didnt send in a kill. Which to me seems pretty bad move on the mafias hand as in most games the mafia knows each other so why not take the free kill on a Anti-Mafia faction.

the only person who i can reasonably vote on would be jrl(replaced by Fircoal) who was the only one really inactive during night two. Wercool was also inactive but was given a 24hr grace period for his possible night action and responded well within the time limit. So basically i'm saying that i think Fircoal is the Mafia Godfather and that we should lynch him and see what happens.

Also just remebered that all votes have to be in red so to seal the deal Vote Fircoal
Any holes in my argument please point out.

Ideally for me, I say we investigate as much as we can all the scumtells we can (fircoal's list is pretty comprehensive) and then, if no one seems an obvious choice, lynch a quiet person. I have always found that lynching deadbeats as a last resort (rather than no lynches) helps the game progress much further for a few reasons:
1) If they are scum trying to deadbeat then we are successful. And if they are town, we aren't losing anyone who was really helping us anyway.
2) By lynching deadbeats the town becomes more active and people post more for fear of death. Even if its forced participation, its participation nonetheless.

Well this is a first. I've never been accused of being scum for being so active. I can't really defend against this though so I'll just leave it to discussion.

). Although since we don't really have enough time to investigate safari to the fullest extent, I would agree to the lynch of wercool or naxus. I probably won't be able to check this thread again until the deadline has already passed so I'll just vote naxus now.
