Old Games

I was looking thru early games and wondered:

% Why is there no game 5?

% In game 6, the logs say "hernando cortez surrendered". When was the
surrender feature dropped? I know it's be suggested and rejected many
times, but didn't realize it was originally available.

I was not here for long enough to know anything about the use of the surrender button.
However, as for game numbers being missing, this is a result of people making games and then dropping them very quickly. For example, if I made a Game 7700000 right now, realized I didn't like the settings, and then dropped it, there will never be ANOTHER Game 7700000 ever made. That's simply how the system works.
