300...# of times I checked my watch during the movie

Awful movie, I was so pissed too since I was so excited to go see it with all the hype. I will give it to them, the fight scenes were cool but other than that, it was awful.

All the Spartans were from chipendale's (I wonder when they got the time to do all those crunches and situps with all the battles going on).

The script was like a bad porn movie, ton of one liners and cheesey lines.

They also stole some scenes from Gladiator (one of my all time favorites), which really pissed me off.

Oh and I think there was deeper political meaning in the movie too, like we should all walk out of the theatre like zombie's chanting "Persians bad, must attack Iran".

Just taking my time to get familiar with everything rather than just rushing in and making some rash decisions.

salr15, your avatar reminds me of a panhandler I once knew. He taught me how to panhandle. He only drank biggie beers, and he would work for them. He was a good drunk. Then one day, he decided to go to Niagra Falls for an event. He died there. Had a heart attack. I miss the poor guy. O Howard

I completely agree with everything you say, great movie. And yes there were deeper politics to it, but it was told from the point of view of a spartan soldier, and he wouldn't have known all of that.
