Could there be ruins of older civilizations by any chance then?

Yes!!! ..and I'm accepting suggestions... anything that could be seen as a lost and forgotten civilization ..

Guys, send me some images from above that could fit well in this map :)

Jef, are you referring to the lake in 'Spanking monkeys 5' ? I suppose I could make it brighter...

On a positive note, nice trees or bushes, the best yet on this site ...

I hope its done on purpose.

Ive followed this map for a while.

At first I rolled my eyes and thought "what a bunch of arrogant pricks" (sorry im always honest)

but this is maybe my 12th time looking at it.

And this may end up being one of the best maps in CC. I shit you not.

goodluck

It allows for a little diversity and depending on your starting points, whether you would like to go for clan grounds or portals, so it gives some options and depends on the random drop where you start on which way you may choose. Thanks so much for the kind words guys. Kab deserves most of the credit, I could not of done it without him. He is simply amazing with his art skills and vision for creativity.

That would be cool if we were talking about a Feudal Epic kind of map - the action here is placed in the future not in the past. Being this, an unknown lost (probably inhabited) world, waiting to be conquered by clans (in the future - that would be using dimensional portals, mechs and spaceships instead of horses :) )

spacecraft like U.F.O.'S would be neat.

The transparency on your water looks much improved, great work.

Did we decide to name the Pinnacle something else? I lost that PM? I may need to update page 1 a little.

it's still The Pinnacle, as named in the legend... Deep Land is the region surrounding it as we've discussed before.

I liked the atmosphere of the futuristic world from Chrono Trigger with abandoned domes and ruines of cities from this time.

Maybe. Do some ruined buildings then?

And you know what would be cool? Some alien dinosaur skeletons, partially buried in the sand... if you can fit it there, it'd go well with the center.

the craft looks neat Kab, dinosaur skeletons buried in the sand? wow, what if somehow since this is futuristic we happened to stumble across some unexplored areas with new advanced technology and found a dinosaur alive.

It may not fit on the map, perhaps I am getting carried away. I do like dinosaurs though, but, it may not fit the futuristic theme, let's see what Kab says.

I'll have to go with blitz concerns about dinosaurs skeletons... Maybe whales could work, but not dinosaurs imo.

How about snakes? Snakes make everything better. 8-[ Seriously though, I think you've got a great map without adding gimmicks like spaceships, giant reptiles, or Ms. Pacman. Kind of derailing where this was going isn't it?

That may be a good decision...

On another note... One thing that bothers me in the visual appearance of this map, is the flatness of the land. It's practically like a pool table with mountains and lakes... I think adding some subtle hills and such would help, you'd just need to make them low enough not to be confused as impassables.
