i think it's the art of solving a rubix cube at amazing speeds.
in order to be one, you must also be single.
well, that goes hand-in-hand :D

Hello, I am the real speedcuber :)

Speedcubing is the art of solving the Rubik's cube very quickly. No tricks or gimmicks, legitimate solving.

I've been doing it for about a year, and I can solve mixed up Rubik's cube in about 19 seconds on average.

Heres a video of me :) :
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... eff+Andrew

The solve time is 15.68 seconds. The scramble was randomly generated. There was a 15 second preinspection period before solving.

For those of you who want to learn more, check out:

Edit: Yes I'm single. However.. speedcubing gives you amazing finger dexterity. :)

Quoting Family Guy, "The Clitoris, Natures Rubik's Cube." I speedsolve this as well.

I've been speedcubing since last march or so and average around 30 seconds.

It's a lot of fun, and really anyone can do it. Sure it's a useless skill, but it's nice to be really good at something and provides a challenge that with a little work you see improvements right away.

Plus, what woman can resist a man that good with his hands?

And you get to learn cool words like "alg", "cubie", "OLL, COLL and POLL" and "clitoris". Plus it is one of the coolest things in the world when you solve it for the first time.

Nice. Love how you go all out geek style and then reel it back in at the end.

Cubing for about a year with these guys, average about 32 sec.
Right now I'm the only one from our group who can do it blindfolded, but Jeph is working on it -shakes fist-

Ok someone 'splain how to do this, doesn't have to be fast. Actually you probably need to go slow.

That's the only way I can solve one. But I can solve those 15 puzzles pretty fast.
