To be quite honest, I'd say being a pilot, assuming that you mean F-15s or F-16s or something... If you are gonna be flying a AWAC around the world, then I would say be a Marine!

You can be a Marine right out of high school. If you want to be a pilot, you'll have to go to Colorado Springs and the Air Force Academy for several years before you fly.

So I picked Marine.

I meant Crash Course in combat. I have been in a crash before though during landing a wheel kind of just feel off. They do teach you the "correct" way to crash a plan. It help keep you alive.

The joke about crash course has been done already, but why "goon" through a Crash course?

Don't be a goon, be a pilot!

My father was a pilot in the RAF, he crashed but didn't survive the experience, so be careful out there, whatever you decide.

What about your navigator? Would you eject if you knew your navigator might not make it?

Just curious, I don't know the full story behind my fathers accident, I was only 8 when it happened and I don't know if I want to know the full story.

I suppose you have more chance of surviving as a pilot flying a top of the line aircraft than being a marine in some 3rd world country with stupid people who blow themselves up for 70 virgins in heaven. But that's just my take on the issue :)

Neither.

Hate to break it to you, but if you join the Chair Force, you probably won't end up flying anything. Very few (if any) enlisted do any actually flying.

Marines, on the other hand, would subject you to bullet catching and basically being a walking sand bag, and you'll go through 13 weeks of boot camp for pretty much that.

Out of curiosity, what did you score on your ASVAB?
