Nuclear fallout

Postby Halmir on Sat Jan 16, 2010 10:11 am

Concise description:
  • The nukes go Bang but it's not obvious where to anyone unless they can see the territory nuked. That seems a bit daft ? Then, anyone can then run into the region next turn at no penalty. That seems a bit daft also?

Specifics:
  • First, each nuke going off should add a little mushroom cloud on that region for an entire turn :)
  • Second, how it zaps everything back to a neutral 1 is fine. But that should then be a contaminated zone for the rest of the game due to fallout! As per Dustbowl, Oasis and a number of other maps, this region then becomes a nuclear wasteland where u lose one army per turn. I would suggest this be an extra option as it will make the game much harder - ubt more of a fun challenge!

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • Makes the nuked territories harder to own, added level of difficulty in taking and holding all of a bonus area.

Interesting idea, however I imagine this would be very difficult to encode.

wel thinking in the same lines it would be a good idea making nuclear cards stronger, i agree they have to littel inpakt on the game.
Mabe you could change it so everyone can hold unlimited cards or at least more then 5 now you have to play them every few rounds if you could save more cards you could blow half the map in one blow;)
or that you get more cards per turn...
