Dude it generated talk, I think a lot of people have forgotten how to play mafia... the last 5 pages apart from f1fth is all bullshit... 'ooh er I don't know who is scum... we have no leads... oh shi' what do we do... I'm suspicious of fifth because he said an opinion'

The idea of mafia is you make crazy accusations, it generates conversation, someone slips up, bandwagons are generated, those who jump on each bandwagon is questioned and lynched, mafia are found. This isn't the lets all hold hands and hope scum magically appear game, it is called a game of suspicion and intrigue for a reason.

But it is the way you are making them. Just declaring people to be scum, is not a good idea, IMO.

That wasn't too nice.

Sorry, I should have asked for a replace a while ago, exams holidays and so on, but, given that I've slogged through the few pages I've missed, I figure I might as well stick in. spurgistanians try to stick through the hard times.

I still stand by my previous distraught impressions of colton. He posts a lot, but manages to tell us absolutely nothing. Additionally, "having" to stay alive is something only scum need to do. Food for thought. Again, would bust a cap, but I feel like we should be lynching. I would fos rainboweater (i think) for saying we should use guns at will, but, seeing as the reason I will be alive will be if he was telling the truth, we may need to take him at that. Additionally, :lol: at people who think that accusing people of being anti-town is anti-town. It's how you play the game.

If that is pointing at me, I in no way said that. If my only post this day was a post saying just, "Colton is scum, someone kill him please." That to me is suspicious.

EBWOP (fixed quotes) and response. What I said there was more in defense of nagerous who was catching flak (or so I thought) from people (you?) for calling somebody scum in order to get a reaction. That said, your suspicion of me (while wrong, naturally) was perfectly called for. I have been derelict in this game, and suspicion of a guy who hasn't posted except to say that we ought to kill colton is perfectly warranted.

if the mafia doesnt have guns this isnt lynch or lose. their's 7 people and 3 scum right? we lynch no one the mafia kills one in the night. it would be 3 town 3 mafia at this point the town normaly couldn't win, but with your guns if the town shoots they could hit one mafia and be lynch or lose 3v2. if they hit two it would be 3v1a good position. if they got realy lucky and took all three shots and only hit mafia they could hit all three mafia and win.

So I've thought about it, and I think it would be better to withhold the identity of the confirmed townie for now. This is for two reasons:

1) To not give scum a target to take out before endgame (confirmed townies are important in endgame!)

2) To make myself a target. This way, if we have a doc there's a pretty good chance he'll protect me. If not, scum might still not attack me on the chance of a doc protect. So I have a pretty good shot at surviving, and possibly even getting a scum kill blocked on me.


But I want to advocate STRONGLY AGAINST taking any vig shots until you need to, unless you are damn sure someone is scum. Just because we probably have a few townies deaths before we're in trouble doesn't mean we should allow them to happen. And besides, if are a townie and waste your shot, not only do we lose an extra townie but also your vig kill. We need to save those for if we need them. We can't give them scum any advantages if we reach endgame.

Killing before getting lynched is bad. If your town and you know you're going to be lynched, kill yourself, so it doesn't go to night, and doesn't give the scum a chance to kill.

No, that is a very scummy thing to do. Tell everyone your suspicions let them act. If you come up town, the person you are suspicious of will be under suspicion next.
