Did anybody catch this yesterday?
Its the conservative FoxNews response to shows like the colbert report and the daily show. It was horrible. Of course I may be prejudice for HATING foxnews and having to listen to it 24/7 whenever i go to the kitchen since my grandfather watches it religiously. I felt embarrased, it was worse than I could have ever hoped for. I figured they could have hired some sort of witty writers, but no. Not funny and also idiotic [lets make fun of hybrid/electric cars LOLZ they are trying to help the enviroment??!! LAFF!11!!1]

It was pathetic. But did anybody else catch it? Thoughts?

It will only hurt their ratings. The only people who will watch it are the people who have Fox on 24/7, and even then people who look for their opinions to be catered to don't want to make it sound like their views are being made a mockery of.

Well, they are the #1 News station in the country....I guess they can afford to be "hurt" in the ratings. Although I doubt that will happen. I have not seen the show. But mainstream America is happy to finally have a News outlet that isn't reeking of liberalism.

The scene where the uptight Lieutenant gets control of the show and his jokes only make the other people in the studio just stare at him in disbelief?

Liberalism, in the classic sense, is fine. Liberalism in the "nanny state" sense is abhorrent.

Either way, there are brilliant humorists on the conservative side, notably P.J. O'Rourke, but a humor show like The Daily Show isn't going to get by on a single idealogical bent. If the Dems were in power, the two shows would be cracking on them.
