Aright here's the collective ruling. As stated above in this thread somewhere we at this time do not require all chat to be posted in English for non diplomatic discussions. If you are in a game where discussions are taking place that are not in your native language or English you can ask the player to please post in English so that all may understand and know that the conversations that are going on are not diplomatic in nature.

If the user does not comply you have the Rating and Foe systems at your disposal, use at your will. And you also have the luxury of posting an accusation in here if you think that suspected user is involved in diplomatic discussions in a language that all in the game do not understand (violation of rule #2).

So in this case Mitsuko is cleared of wrong doing, Foe & Rate Accordingly.

If you don't agree with the ruling feel free to open an E-ticket. or

If we had this requirement, the problem - and this thread - might have been avoided in the first place.

take this to the suggs & bugs forum and address a change in there. As for now the rule on non-English chat is only a violation if it is done in regards to diplomatic discussions.

On a side note Mitsuko watch the flames in here and future posts.

Sam, I see a bit of a Catch-22 in operation here. Non-English is not a violation unless it is in regards to diplomatic discussions. But we don't have any way of knowing if the non-English is in regards to diplomatic discussions unless we translate it. Once it is translated, then the non-English no longer applies as secret diplomacy because IT IS NO LONGER SECRET in the context of being in a language not understood by others in the game. As things currently stand, you may as well allow anyone to speak in any language, because it is literally impossible to have someone guilty of secret diplomacy. Do you see the problem I'm seeing with this ruling?

I think it would be a good suggestion for either change or clarification in the rules, tis why I hinted towards putting it in suggs & bugs.

Cause your right unfortunately 90% of the time all foreign language in game chat will be viewed as diplomatic. There has got to be some common ground to be had here. But as the rules state now, this is not against the rules.

Woody. As the rules state it is a violation if diplomatic discussions are not in English or a language all players understand.

Almost seems like your arguing just to argue.
