Colts are awesome!! They are the World Champions. Peyton Manning is the best. He deserves being the MVP. He is a quarterback in control. He can handle the pressure, and to everyone who ever said he could not win in a pressure situation you need to be quiet. He has done it. I think it is great that Dungy got the win. Especially after his oldest son died last year right before the playoffs. He is a great coach.

Whoever quoted about the turnovers. I wonder how good you could play when it is raining.

I don't like the Chicago bears, but they have one the best Linebackers in the NFL. "Brian Urlacker is so damn good at this game."
He is also from a tiny town called Lovington, New Mexico, about 100 miles from me.

One of the best Super Bowls in a long time...

f*ck the Colts. Not that I am a Bears backer, but as a Bengals fan you have to understand...

I'm also a Tampa Bay fan and they should have never got rid of Dungy. That Championship won by Gruden was Dungy's team not his. Look where TB has gone since then...

Yeah, the Bucs have been in serious decline... and even the recipients of bad karma (at the very least, the Simms kid's spleen thing).

At least the Devil Rays look strong................ relatively speaking

Dude, are you fucking serious?

I'm a TB fan too.. but I strongly disagree. Dungy and Gruden have very different coaching talents. Dungy as a coach can build a team and make them fucking good, but he is not a good playoffs coach.. How many years did the Bucs go to the playoffs and lose and not make it to the Super Bowl. Gruden was excellent and took them that extra step Dungy couldnt. Then when Dungy went to the colts he had the same fortune as with the Bucs except he eventually had some fortune, but that is not Dungy's forte. The bucs have been in ever decline since they lost Dungy, because obviously building a team is not Gruden's forte. So whether it was a net loss or gain at least we have the rings.

Dude, it's called building a team. The Colts doing poorly in the playoffs the last couple of years was more a reflection of Manning's shortcomings than Dungy's. Dungy is probably one of the top 3 coaches in the league. If Gruden was so good he could have at least stayed in playoff contention a few years longer. Dungy would have taken the championship home to TB if he would have been around that year. I think Gruden is way over rated.

gruden may be overrated, but I disagree, dungy would not have brought home that championship. although he is great at building a team.

chea

btw, Gruden is one of the best coaches in the NFL. Sure he's lost here and there the last couple of years, but can you blame him? Look at the tallent that he's been given. All of those stars on defense are over 32 and on the decline. All the young tallent is on the offense where there is no role model to look up to unless they're washed up tallent like Allstot and Galloway.

part of the problem was the rain and the ball & everything being slippery. when the game started i couldn't believe the kickoff was gonna be that amazing. that was awesome. i wish the bears had kept up the momentum. i would have liked to see them win.

shut off the tv during halftime. i hate Prince. you would thing anyone else would have been available.

what are you gonna do.

it didn't really mattered to me which team won. i am a Giants fan. and, as long as it's NOT the Patriots, i hate the Patriots. i'm glad they lost.
I won't watch a superbowl game if they're playing.

AGREE!!!!! except for the not watching part...I'd watch and just root for the other team (passionately)...lol

Gruden is good...not to mention beautiful... :D

As far as the Colts go...this could be the beginning of a new era of Colts total dominance. Now that Peyton and the rest of the team have gotten over their issues with the Pats, they could be unstoppable. For the last few years the Colts have dominated the regular season and left dominance in the playoffs to some other surprise team. Now they are a threat to dominate every game all year long!

I'm not gonna lie...I'll be glad to see some other team dominating at the end of the year than the damn Patriots...and the only team I'd RATHER see dominating is the Denver Broncos.

As for the Patriots--that puts two teams in the AFC who can dominate them on 'any given Sunday'--the Denver Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts...look at the records for previous years.

What makes you think the Broncos were going to dominate, yes they had a good defence in the start of the year but it fell apart quicklly. They sadly have sucked ever since John Elway left.

As for the Colts winning, YEEEESS!!! I am so HAPPY!
I must say that the starting kickoff to the Bears was a bit upsetting to me, but the Colts still won and that what I care about.

I didn't say they were going to dominate. I said I would RAHTER see them dominate than the Colts...or any other team for that matter.

However, if I did think the Broncos were going to dominate it would be because...

1.) Last year we made it to the AFC Championship game where we were defeated by the Superbowl XL Champoins.

2.) Mike Shanahan is pure genius. In the 10 or 11 years that he has been the Denver head coach, the Broncos have more first downs, points, rushing yards and touchdowns than any other team.

3.) Denver always has at least one, usually two, surprise 1000yard rushers.

4.) Our defense is small but quick and powerful. Contributers like Champ, Gold, Lynch, and Al Wilson make our defense one of the best in the league.

5.) We always win at home.

6.) ect.

Congrats to the Colts

While I wanted the Bears to win, it was obvious that once they stopped kicking the ball to Hester it was over!!

I'm glad for Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning. They are both classy guys in my book. At least we didn't lose to the Patriots, which would have made me throw up.

Yeah, so much more Boring than San Francisco's 55-10 win over Denver in SB XXIV. Those 45 point beatdowns are far more exciting than a 12 point beatdown. (Sarcasm y'all)
