Saturn 360degrees

Its pretty simple how everything connects, at least it was to me. Let me know what you guys think. I thought it would be a fun map to play on, of course the art work is not the best but I drew it up in about 5 min.

Keep in mind that each layer has 2 connecting dots on the asteroid belt (besides the very center which has only 1), on both front and back, but front and back sides of saturn do not connect. Black dots would be on the tips of the planet connecting both sides, but there will be only one layer of black which connects to both sides. And of course yellow dots connect the different layers on the planet itself.

Not a half bad idea. Just remember when you draw the planet:

1. Saturn has a noticeable procession and tilt
2. Saturn is the most non-spheroid of any planet in the solar system.

Thanks for the info RedBaron0. I will keep that in mind, I also need some more tips on game play and other things too, let me know if you got any more advice, thanks.

This first pic just kind of gives you an idea of the connections from place to place, both front and back of the planet will look the same, keep in mind that the asteroid field colors that match those on the planet match, those colors from the asteroid field can attack all those on the planet of the same color, and those places on the asteroid field will all connect as well, on the planet itself the different layers connect from the sides as shown with the black line.

Here is an image from the side, hopefully to give you an idea of how the center connects both sides of the planet.

and i messed up with the pink and green dots on the side there, there should only be one each. but dots on the asteroid field will connect. If anyone is interested in this idea let me know please and I will continue. Thanks. =D>

Really this map does not have to be a 360degree map. It could just be like this one, but if someone thinks it would be a good idea to have this map be 360degrees I would really need someone that knows their graphics well to make up a new map. This is the best I can do on graphics myself  Let me know if anyone is interested. I would love to have someone else help on this map.

If you wanna try doing just the Saturnian system that would be quite unique. Saturn has more than 60 moons, plus of course the stunning ring system, unique to the entire solar system.

Data on Saturn & its moons

Your call on how you'd want to go exactly. Consider that of those 60-some moons; only 6 are bigger than 500 km(~1000 miles) in diameter: Titan, Rhea, Iapetus, Dione, Tethys, and Enceladus. Most of the rest are oblong shaped asteroids for all intensive purposes.

It's all in the knowledge of the program you'd use. Give GIMP, Fireworks, or Photoshop a try and if you can't do it, keep suggesting it till someone picks up your idea. ;)
