Solar System

Postby Smooth on Mon Oct 19, 2009 5:28 am

Hi, I'm posting a new project called 'Solar System', I hope you'll like it.
It's, as the name says, based upon our own solar system. It has the 9 (or 8 if you don't count Pluto) planets with all their moons. It's not like the larger 'Space' map which has different solar systems and which is completely different. I wanted to make a fun map with also an educational touch (you get to learn all the moons of the different planets of our own solar system). Ofcourse the size of the planets/moons is not 100% correct but that wouldn't be possible.
I think there should be another space map in Conquer Club (there are so many countries/variations of the continents, but only one space map?)

Perhaps there can be made some adjustments to the connections between the planets, but I think this one would be a lot of fun already. Suggestions are ofcourse always welcome!!

I really hope you'll like it so we can play this map! :)
With kind regards,
Joe

no matter. 2 classic maps... I don't see why there can't be 2 solar system map. Continue, please. But, can you replace the "[img]" labels with "[bigimg]" labels? It would be easier to see

oh yeah, and maybe you could add some bonuses like planet+all its moons has 5 bonus or maybe +3 for every 2 moons or something. More bonuses, that's what we need.

Naw, you're doing alright. We have a lot of maps with the same theme. Heck we have like 5 versions of Europe. So long as your map has a different style of game play, no one will care. And so far I like your map.

I like that too.

Venus, Mercury, Earth, & the Moon do not have a bonus?
Since all the other moons are given their proper names on the map, shouldn't our moon be listed by it's proper name too?

I don't think that your bonuses are even or fair as they sit.
Are Pluto, Charon, and Xena part of the Uranus bonus?
Also, just curious, is there any rhyme or reason for the attack routes?

i still don't understand how this could be different than the solar system map we have right now... unless taking out jump gates makes the game completely different, i don't think this should be pursued...

Call it "Inner Solar System"
I think its a good idea, it would be better w/o jump gates anyway, this could be a smaller version.
