So you never joined two maps together to play risk this way. From what i have read and seen online, it is a popular variant for the game.

I have no big need to make this map. It will look better when it is done but I don't need to make it.
I think putting two or 4 gameboards together is different and more fun as the board is huge and everything is labeled. There is nothing familiar about AL2 to WA4.
I think what CC is hungriest for most right now is a very large geographical map. It can be entirely fictional which will allow you to be creative with the names and shapes, but full names should be on there. People do indeed like homemade fantasy, just look how popular the 'Age of' series was.
