- Add a filter to the Scoreboard page to only show the user's friends instead of the entire community.
Specifics:
- Instead of showing just the entire community rankings, add a filter to the Scoreboard that will allow the user to view the rankings of only their friends.
- Show the overall community ranking #, and the ranking # relative to the rest of their friends in the list.
- The rest of the information for that row can be the same as currently shown on the scoreboard
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- I don't really care about the overall community rankings, insofar as I will never be up near the top. I play too casual and am not good enough to compete for the higher rankings, so I tend to ignore them. They don't mean much to me.
- What matters to me more is how I am doing relative to my friends, who are usually the people that I play most of my games with (including other web or video games)
- This change will increase bragging rights with friends.
- Let new players compare themselves to their friends who have been playing longer and gauge improvement.
