Movies!

Postby JamesLinehan on Sun Feb 11, 2007 7:56 am

Hiya guys!

Might sound really stupid but has anyone made any ConquerClub short movies of there games?

I want to start making them. But when I try and save the image of the world and armies... it only saves the armies  There is no map in the background! Just armies on a white background.

Also I try and screenshot it but when I upload the images to iMovie they are abit blurred.

Can anyone help me out here? Does anyone ahve any films to show me? Also doesn anyone know what the program is on Mac OsX where you can take screenshots?

Any help would be great. :D

a mac fan! :D

apple shift 3 is the shortcut for screenshots and automatically saves it as a jpeg on the desktop. preview allows u to open them but editing is limited.

apple shift 4 brings up a little crosshair and allows u to take a screenshot of just 1 programme wich would allow u to get everything in 1 place consistently. then u can use ms powerpoint or flash or anything to make all the screenshots into a sequence.

another option is to copy all of the pictures of just the armies and then go to game finder and click on the map u were playing on. u can then copy the picture of the map. just use the map pic as a background throughout all ur slides and stick each of the armies pictures on top

finally u can make an actual video using iShowU the program is a free demo available on the mac OSX website. there are other programmes. basically it records a video of exactly wat is going on on ur screen.

hope that helps

Well lack has said that when game log 2.0 comes out it will be possible to see all of the info from the game (there is currently info not displayed in the log) and therefore someone with the technical know how could create a 'game replay' program to automatically make movies and recreate passed games. That would be very helpful for new players trying to learn the strategies that some veterans use!
