I toss my massive caber from time to time. I do not consider it a punishment, nor a sin of impurity.

As for the haggises, I don't actually ever see them as well-formed as that - I usually have them from my local chippy, where they're fried in batter. Sometimes I could swear it's actually black pudding, but when I remonstrate with the owner, I can never understand his Italian accent.

He doesn't, unfortunately, just everything else. I have had pizzas fried in batter, but not from him. Jesus Christ, just talking about my local cuisine has made me lose faith in my country already. Thank God for the Indians and the Chinese.

Thanks for the offer, but there are two Indian takeaways and two Chinese takeaways, and no MacDonalds, in my small English town. Also, I am a dab hand at making spag bol and pizza, so I'm sorted for food.

The internet isn't exactly the type of thing you invent by yourself...

And by the same out-of-context stretch...George Bush claims to have invented the iPod.

Rofl, no, it was invented by a guy at CERN (though I can't remember whether he was English or not). Do your homework.

Tim Berners-Lee, the (British, as if it matters) father of the world wide web, is the CERN guy, i think.

I believe the US military developed the first computer network, though.
