A Wiki

Concise description:
  • Make a user-operated CC Wiki

Specifics:
  • You might need to find a few volunteers for moderating it, but I'm sure there are plenty of Wikiists around here who be willing to help. This place has everyone (except DM :( ).
  • To minimize the need for a moderator, I'd suggest only allowing logged in players to make any edits, because that way you have a record if anyone chose to vandalize it. Banning people from making edits and fixing vandalism is easy in wikis though.
  • Beyond making the wiki itself, everyone else does the work for you.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • Gives the mentors and mentees a great place for linking to game tips and strategy, as well as allowing them to go in depth of individual maps' strategy on their respective page.
  • Gives the community members a place to document people and events for public record and memory (as well as allowing newer members to get to better know the community and its history.
  • Gives the stat junkies a good place to post their stats.
  • Possible foundry applications. Those guys got their shit together though, so I don't know if they need it.

this is a no brainer... though trolls on the forums and wiki's don't mix. the wiki mods have to be vigilant.

Not sure I see the use for a wiki. We could seriously use an update/improvement of the "Instructions", "Rules" and "Help" pages though.
