Yay! :D

Ok, do you want to hear the rules now, or do you want to wait for all the other people to gather?

Ok, here's the deal. 7 player mafia is supposed to be balanced. If memory serves mes me, it's either 2 scum 5 townies or 1 Cult leader 6 townies, right? Well, here's the catch:
1. I'll choose one of these setups, without telling you which one.

2.Then I will send the first round of PMs, asking each one of you to choose, for example, 1 pro-town role.

3. Finally, I will take the roles that you have sent me and randomly distribute them among you via PM's

So are the cult/mafia included in the random roles or is it just the townies that parts 2 and 3 apply to?

I used to play chess a lot on my ipod but then I found out that the vesion my brother put on was like impossible and the reson I couldn't make it easier is because the difficulty settings is actualy just the amount of turns befoe it beats you so when I changed it to the lowest it would beat me faster. It made me frustrated so I stopped playing.

Roles are not random. Each of you guys chooses one role. The catch is that you don't know whether the role that you choose is going to be yours, an ally or a foe. Thus, feel free choose the most powerful role that you can think of, but it may end up in your opponent's hands.

P.S. It turns out that speed chess and posting don't mix well. I just lost on time

Walrus, I recommend Chessmaster 10. It has a great school of chess which will enable you to at least fight the CPU if not beat it.

Ah that's what I meant, I really like it. It's a fun risk if you ask me and could result in some intresting roles

I think it's the best idea for rt I've ever heard, now we just need the people

I'll send you the PM saying "Choose one role for the faction X (which can be either town, scum or third party)". And then you PM me back.

I suggest that we try it first with the standard Mafia roles (by Standard I mean to say that you choose an existing role rather then inventing a completely new one). After we test it, maybe we can go totally wild in the next round and start intventing new roles!

I am currently browsing the forum for people that I can pull by the sleave into the game. I PMed Exile and am still waiting for a response.

Speaking of which, I'm going to go for about 5 minutes because:

1. I'm at my frind+s house and I have to find some paper and a pencil for the roles.

2. He insists that I smoke only on the balcony. :(

See you in 5.

I think I just thought of a really easy way for the town to win this game, :? but it should be fun anyway.

Bulletproof is the best you can come up with?

What about "know it all unlimited day killer" Someone who knows everyones roles at the start of the game and has unlimited day kills.

Never mind. I just tried out my idea on a piece of paper, but it didn't work out quite how I thought it would.

My idea was if there was a massclaim, then the scum would be forced to make up a town role. We would know they were scum, because no one would have submitted that role. However, this backfires on the townie who recieves the role that the scum submitted. The scum would obviously not claim to have submitted that role and the townie would be lynched. See what I mean?
