I have used BOB for a long time and it seems to have decided to pack up
It is only BOB as clickies and map rank both still work, but when BOB is enabled on greasemonkey none of the other scripts work and i cannot take a turn
I have tried disabling greasmonkey and restarting firefox but neither works :S
so whats the simple fix i'm missing
lozz
Top Rank: Captain Top Score: 1835 Top Pos: 1707 Nothing ventured... nothing gained
It might be due to the revamp. Maybe the locations of the circles changed. See if fixing the alignment helps. Then close the window and go back to it to see if it stays fixed. I checked the game and the numbers looked ok to me.

No, happens on most all maps from time to time for me. Not on my laptop, but the school's desktop. I run FF3 on laptop, FF2 on desktop which might be the problem…
Purchased a new laptop a Gateway with Vista Home edition. Installed BOB and it gets stuck on "Initializing BOB" What should I do to solve this problem?
I did do a search of the forum for this bug, and found it, but the solution didn't work for me.
I have bob installed, and it's been working fine, but recently it's started hanging on "Creating Statistics Table."
Reloading doesn't work. I need to have multiple tabs open, quit Firefox, select "Save Open Tabs", and then relaunch Firefox to get Bob to finish loading on whatever game it hung on.
It doesn't do it always, but it does do it more than half the time. It will happen on any game, but not consistently.
I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.7, Firefox 3.0.10, and BOB 4.7.1
I think Bob may not have been playing well with other addons I had installed recently -- Yoono and Twitterfox. I actually don't give a crap about those two, so I have uninstalled them, and so far, I have not had the hanging problem.
I will give it another couple of days to see if anything changes, and update accordingly.
I have more troops and twice as many regions as my opponent, but Bob is listing his strength as 28 and mine as 18.
However, he holds 5 cards and I only hold 2, and it's an escalating game. Still, the next redemntion value is only 8. Is that where the odd Strength calculation is coming from?
I'm getting frustrated with the 'Hide' button in the Zones column on the Statistics table. I'm trying to find a way to get the variable button.value to default to "Hide", every time I swap to a new game, perform an action of just refresh the page in general, it keeps popping back open with the Zones list for all the players. As I like playing on large maps this elongates the page something rotten.
What code do I need to insert to get it to start hidden on all events? I've tried adding this line to the default options section:
n00blet wrote:Yeah, I've never understood that. How exactly does it calculate strength?
It is based off of number of territories, number of troops per territory, spoils that could be turned in, troops due, and deferred troops. I am not sure on the math, but these are the different factors that I have seen affect the number. While the number may not actually mean anything, the relative value does give clues as to who is leading or stronger.
Bob seems to be hanging up, requiring a re-load of the page, whenever it encounters an accented letter in a place name. Very odd. It displays some alt-? character, and stops working.
Something I've just noticed, BOB no longer gives the last bonus for anyone from round 2 on wards, it's like groundhog day for the last bonus because it's always zero. I tried a reinstall to no effect, might this have something to do with it?
