Just a question, I am concerned about my position in Oz. I do not wish to fight for it and would rather I didnt have any lands there, but such is life. I think I may wish to fight to leave it. I am going to watch red and if red forts out of A7, I think I should take that opportunity to abandon Oz.
I would deploy 2 on A1 and 1 on N7, then attack as suggested, but advance all. Remember N4 or N5 are the best spots to own in NA, so head for one of those.
Same reason really. N4 is the best spot as accesses so many of the others. N5 accesses the second most areas, so will alow you to move around better when the time comes. If I can't get either of those, I tend to sit underneath with another small stack either above or just into Aisa that can then do the top half!
Hope that makes a bit of sense. It's the same with A1 and A2. A1 is the best, with A2 as second best!
OK, your proposal is fine. I would have an urge to put 3 on A7 and not attack. I can't give a good reason for why that would be better than your move, except maybe for diversity defense and a gut feeling.
I considered that too, but discarded it as I feel cyan would squash me and I would lose 4 armies. I then looked around for another spot but nothing except NA and that would be a waste to not put them in N9. So decided on what I previously wrote. If I had a land a bit away from others...kinda secluded, I would put them there.
Apparently I am starting to think like you folks, as you said everything that occurred to me. I think this game is a powder keg about to explode, I just hope the opening fragments don't take me out
