Illy your character is hardly townie but I think it is benificial to town to keep you alive presuming you listen to the town for your kills.
my justification was simple-I've seen this happen many many times/ What would've happened is in the end everyone would've voted bolt nd lynched him. This way town gets an extra lynch every day, something bound to keep it ahead of mafia.

This only keeps you ahead of the mafia if you kill mafia which you have not done all game!!!
think about what Iliad has done:
1) a wreckless kill on ItsBolt when he could have been investigated, and should have been with a role that important.
2) when we lynched Ink, so be it the jester, his basis was how nicely drench put it, a known mafia member.
3) another wreckless kill of flores, the cop is still not dead, so why kill someone you can investigate?
4) Then he killed drench, a mfai usurper.
The only mafia Iliad has killed is a mafia usrper, which is a benefit to the mafia.
meanwhile at night, we lost a mage (dr) and and a cop.
When I first started reading I thought that Iliad was town but just a moron, power hungry, and killing people for no reason, but then I realized this:
If you were mafia, you would either know that Iliad is town or not. If he is town you would want him dead, his role is way to powerful. The Dr. was killed night two, so why not kill him night three? Instead on night three the cop was killed. Why did the mafia not kill the single person who could end thier game with one shot on night three? Why risk killing someone else?
Not only this, but he claims his role on day 1 to kill it's bolt! why do that, why let mafia know about your porweful role? This just makes no sense.
