Ability to Alphabetize Players in My Ratings

Postby Fuggazi on Tue Apr 14, 2009 1:47 pm

Concise description:
  • In "My Ratings" it would be helpful if we had the ability to put the list of players we have rated into alphabetical order

Specifics:
  • Right now I have 11 pages of players that I have rated and it is impossible to remember every player that I have played in a previous game.
Having the ability to put this list into alphabetical order would make it a lot easier to find a certain player that you would like to check to see
how you rated him/her in the past. The way the list is set up right now (by date the rating was left) it takes ages to find a player you have rated.
I still want the list to read by date the rating was left but just give us the ability to click on the top and change the list into alphabetical order.
By being able to check out what rating I left for a player, I will know if they are a deadbeat, coward or un-cooperative.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:

  • Being able to find previously rated players more quickly would make it for a less time consuming chore.

Doesn't matter to me in the least.
I suspect you made your comment without reading what I said. If I can easily look up that someone was a deadbeat then I can make the decision whether I want to enter into that game or not . If I can see quickly that they are un-cooperative or a coward then I know not to count on them for help if someone else is running away with the game. If I can see they were irrational or clueless ...hmm...let's say like you are, then I can elect not to play in a game with them. :P

You could just use your foe list to exclude deadbeats and poor sports.
Current tourneys -- The Floor, Punch Out Boxing, Bedrock Bowling, 2025 MLS season, 2025 MLB season, 2025 WNBA, Tamriel Best of 5, Random Best of 3, Nordic Countries Best of Five, Waterloo Best of Five.

I was making a humorous comment, thus the :) that was after it.

I don't have any comment on the merits of the suggestion. I don't spend alot of time pouring through my ratings lists, so I don't see the need, but as the counter point I don't see the harm either.

If you think about what I posted, you will realize I did read your post. :)
