I have a quesition about the points system?

I know the points are calculated in this way:

(loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent.


But when is this calculated? From the points you have when you entered the game? When you were eliminated? When?

I say this because i have been elimated from several games ages ago and they are still going on, while in the mean time i'm gaining points from games that i play and finish.

IF the points are calculated at the end of the entire game it would mean the winner of a game i was eliminated in ages ago is Reaping points that i didn't have when he eliminated me. It doesn't seem fair.

Does this make sense?

Unless it's been changed, the points are calculated when the game ends.

Thats sucks when all the remaining players never make it past private and you gain rank after rank.

I know there's the question Why did you get elimated from agame with players who can't get past private?

Well sometimes, more often than not, there's more than one idiot and they keep attacking you untill one player Capitalizes and eliminates you easily. If a player wins with a low score which will happen i could lose 50 -60 points or More! It's not at all fair given that i gained most of the points i have now After i was eliminated.

First of all, your score is only 1420- I doubt you will be losing 50-60 points or more. For that to happen you would have to lose to someone who is under 475. I didn't check the game but there aren't many of those on this site.

Anyway, I agree with your general thoughts in this thread. I think that when you are eliminated your score at that moment should be locked in, and then when the game ends the score is calculated based on the moment when you are eliminated.

This would also solve another small problem the site has seen before- some scummy players have tried to keep the last opponent alive in games they know they will win so they can lose all the games they are already eliminated in (or the ones where they know they will lose) and then gain a few more points from the winning game. It wouldn't completely solve that problem but it might help a bit.
