^^Freestyle is not the same as terminator.

And this is an interesting question- I don't know the answer to it. They would of course deadbeat at the EXACT same time, since their turns would both begin when the round began. That would leave the game with no winner, and I don't know what would happen.

True. I just thought it interesting that such similar questions were asked around the same time.

i do not think its possible, because for two people to be the last two in the game and dead beat, that would mean that they both have to take a turn in round one. they would both have to end at the same time. and not just down to the minute. to the second, and i am not sure it is even possible with the log that we have.

but it is is an interesting question.

Somebody correct me if i am wrong.

No, I think it is possible eddy.

Let's say there are 6 players in a freestyle game that is not terminator. You and I are the last two remaining. When both of us have played a turn the new round will begin for both of us at the exact same time. If neither of us plays again after that point we would both deadbeat at the exact same second as you said.

This would lead to a game with 4 eliminated players, two deadbeats and no winners.

My guess is it would be exactly like a game where everyone deadbeats: No change of score. But I'm not positive because I've never seen it happen. I'm willing to test it out though!

I'm in for a next game, how about this, 3 players, everybody deatbeats, pm me if you want this to happen. I made a private game, I'll give you the # and password.

Also, worst case may be the last person gets all of the points, since they count them last.

Eddy- play it like a normal game in the beginning- except that you and AK are both trying to eliminate me. Once I am gone, THEN you guys start missing turns at the same time....that should mean that you deadbeat at the same time, but it would be after I am already dead.

I actually started one with AK and eddy already. But just to point out, this is not a question of everyone deadbeating. It's some people being eliminated and then the rest deadbeating. It will probably work the same way but I just want to make sure :P

You both (AK_iceman and eddymush) are getting negative feedback from me and going into my ignore list for deadbeating on purpose ;)

BTW: I dont think its related to who finished last turn. It is probably just simply the order how players joined up the game (AK_iceman before eddymush). So his deadbeating is processed first.

I think we should try it again, and this time I join up last.

Thats 2 experiments where I have lost points now.... it's just not right.

Yeah, its only fair for AK and I to win one each, right eddy? :P

But wow, I think that is actually a bug that should be corrected. You both miss the same number of turns starting on the same round, but won of you wins?

Here's a nice "what if..."- AK always missed his turn first (in the list at least). Is that because he joined before eddy? Or because his name is alphabetically first? We can test both, each deadbeat again with a different winner each time, and get the points almost back to their starting place

EDIT- its not alphabetical, deadbeats are listed in the order that they joined the game. So we could start another and have the person who joined last (of the two still alive) end their turn before the other. That way we could see if it was whoever took their turn last or whoever was on the list last that wins...

Hm thats interesting, but I think it goes by who joined the game at what time. The last person to join is listed last when they both deadbeat so thats probably it.

The results are in: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=181921#gmtop

It has nothing to do with who plays last. It simply depends on who joined the game last.

I'm posting this as a bug report! I've lost too many points now because of it :P
