I previously posted about this in the naval warfare thread but that thread seems to be dying, so I decided to post this separately.
I was thinking if anyone was looking for an interesting map project they may wish to look at a "Sink the Bismark" map.
I believe this would be a very interesting map. Nearly every single type of surface warship in existence at the time was included in the hunt for this enormous German battlewagon and her escort the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen. There were also submarines involved in this hunt. As well as aircraft from the aircraft carrier H.M.S. Ark Royal.
The various types of ships in this map could make for very interesting and diverse game play such as: ranged assaults from heavier ships, one way assaults from subs, bombardment from torpedo bombers, etc., etc.....
If anyone would like to take this up please go right ahead.
