How to avoid cheaters in your games.

This post is ment for the recently joined players with a decent ranking who want to play private games and avoid cheaters!

A normal cheating scenario is 2 players (buddies) creating a game for 3 where they imidiately occupy 2 spots. Then waiting for a 3 to join, when someone does, they make sure he doesn't win. Win win situation all the time for them. Well this is easy to protect yourself from, checking their previous games and seing if they played together a lot of times is the best way. It gets a bit harder when 1 of them start a game waiting for someone else to join and when someone does that the 2 buddy joins. Even this is can be avoided by checking previous games of the 1 who started the game. There's also 1 a bit more clever way that someone (don't remeber who) told me he has been tricked by. He started a game for 3, created a unique password (not standard) and gave 1 guy the password, he didn't check if this guy could be a cheater because he believed he still had controll of who the 3 person joining would be, well that other guy gave his buddy the password and the result was the same as if he joined a game with them both in it from the beginning. Just stay of everyone who has played a lot of games with the same players and you should avoid cheaters. You can never be sure of avoiding cheaters if you don't avoid players who play a lot together. Of course 1-1 games is the safest, but very boring in the long run!
