Night 6

spiesr sat his vigil tonight, as the group doctor it was in him to do so, but so many nights the doc has grown tired getting mere hours of sleep a night, and for once it overtook him. Next he knew 'the thing' was standing overhim, already mutated into a hidious unrecognizable state, and the patient he watched over was nowhare to be seen. he tried to scream out but to no avail, the creatures clan ripped apart his throte, with his last ounce of strength spiesr reached for the alarm and tripped it just as his life force faded. The rest made it just in time to see his corpse torn open, and an open window behind, the cold air waving in, before he could change they took his body to fire, the doctor is dead.

What I should have said was that there are 7 people left, no power roles, and 3 replacements while people were still dying. This means to me that the replacements are obviously human. That leaves these four left. Will do more research then get back to narrowing it down even more.

A fair list, and fair reasoning, but I wouldn't leave out Bolt since he did replace a while ago and though he hasn't been posting, it doesn't mean he hasn't been watching the game. Also, that guarantees that at least one of you is human, because it only takes one scum to send in an action.

Still, pursuing the people on the list would likely yield at least one scummer. My guess is nagerous, but I don't know how much it counts for since I totally misread Stroop. I had figured him trying to divert his bandwagon onto me was just desperate scum behavior.

Normally id role claim, but with no role to claim as such i can just say i am not the thing, and have never got a pm off of nate at night at all. Personally im thinking f1fth looks scummiest since he mislead a lynch against stroop. Bolt has been unactive but as f1fth said, that doesnt mean he isnt scum.

We have no power roles so its just intuition we must go by now

This. I also find f1fth (still can't spell that right, dammnit!) suspicious, if for no other reason than for the way he acted last day. But, I disagree with spaceghst44 on his second post. Just because they replace in doesn't mean there notthe Thing, personally, I think he's trying to get the steam off pf himself, and put it on the ones who were in the game in the begginig.

Read a bit of the start of the thread too and I make it 2 or 3 things out of us 7. Need a no town lynch I'd say.

Sounds like an OMGUS vote... Animorph calls you out for your so called "list" of people who are scum and your belief that replacements can't be scum (don't play the mod, play the game, and also I'm a replacement myself )

Anyone, who appears to command the town towards a lynch, or push the town in a certain direction this late game is always scummy in my eyes... it is generally a better policy to trust the thoughts of the last townie lynched, though we have had limited success with this method of things in the past in this game. I'm just unimpressed by your logic, as you are not actually searching for scum tells that have occurred in the game, but instead calling out half the players in the game.

Vote Count

spaceghst44 - 1 vote (sam_levi_11)
F1fth - 1 vote (Thezzaruz)

With 7 players it takes 4 votes to lynch

I'm note quite sure about f1fth at this point, space seemed a little too werid saying that replacements couldn't be scum, implying that he and another replacement are probably some sort of scum.

vote:space_ghst_44 because that reasdoning makes me feel uneasy.

I am going to go into some theory on this type of game here so if it really isnt something for you, just stop reading this post untill I reach the conclusion. This game is basically cult vs cult stopper + vig. Now the only real flaw in the game is that if the thing (henceforth known as scum to stop me from getting confused) is lynched day one the game ends day one. Now, in order to prevent being lynched, the chances are that scum will not be a big player in day one, since they wish to avoid suspicion rather then gather it. For this reason I doubt the original scum would be on early wagons, or a hammer vote. I would look for them to be on the second biggest wagon, or the middle of the largest one, since those are the spots that get overlooked.

Now we can apply this same principle to recruitment, by using what I call 'The ideal investigation theorem'. This basically states "As a cop the best investigation is a player who you have no read on, and has a low chance of being lynched the following day." This comes about given two assumptions 1) The highest suspects will be vigged, and 2) The non suspects will be night killed. By investigating someone who will not likely be a lynch target, you do not have to worry about having to claim to save an innocent from being lynched, or at least give tells more then breadcrumbs that you know their alignment. This would make the cult/mafia in this game want to follow the same basic plan. If they recruit someone who thinks like they do the first night, it should be somewhat obvious that an alignment changed.

As the game is in its current phases, the chance of a recruit as opposed to a kill are low, so now the mafia wants to target threats as opposed to people who would make good additions.

Basically we can come to a few conclusions

1) Mafia likely was a lurker the first day
2) There are likely three mafia at this point in the game (four DBA in six nights)
3) The second recruit would have the biggest chance in suspicion list
4) We are in lylo... and shouldnt be voting
5) Mafia are sam, f1fth and someone I cant figure out yet

Wrong on several counts.

One, the scum cannot lose the first day because the game starts with a night phase and the thing has a 100% chance to recruit.

Two, there are only two mafia. The first night someone was recruited (of course) and the second night ga7 was protected by the doctor, or so he claimed. But since he turned out to be town as well as our doctor, we can assume that he was telling the truth. That makes two scum, sir.

Three, I'm not scum. I would defend myself more so, but you haven't quite explained your case against me.

The reason I figure you are suspicious of me is because of the Stroop bandwagon, but it turns out that that was the exact same reason we lynched Stroop in the first place (except it was in regards to the ga7 bandwagon instead of his own). Point is though, you got it wrong.

I would consider my top suspect at the moment nagerous. He's been extremely quiet since he replaced and has been quick to jump on bandwagons with little-to-no explanation (both Stroop's and ga7's).
