Penalty for Mis-used Thread

Postby sailorseal on Sun Feb 01, 2009 8:39 pm

I spend some time in cheating and abuse. I like it there but that is not my suggestion. When I am browsing around threads I hate seeing ones like "He missed some turns, he beat me therefore he cheated, my dice were bad they were rigged, he hacked the site so I lost and so on" My point is that people who just make these pointless threads need to be warned. Also that there is auto [DELETE ME]MIS-USE OF THIS THREAD WILL HAVE PUNISHMENTS, THAT INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO UNNECESSARY ACCUSATIONS, ACCUSATIONS BASED ON DICE AND ACCUSATIONS BASED ON LOST GAMES[DELETE ME]

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • Easier navigation
  • No time wasted
  • Less angry people

Poor suggestion. Just because YOU believe a thread is a poor one (particularly in the Cheating and Abuse area) doesn't mean that it is one. In fact, many times the moderators will clear someone and yet the thread is STILL a good one because it deserved to be looked at. In addition, "less angry people"...what does that mean? So you're saying that if someone hijacks a thread or it turns into a flaming thread, then the original intent of that thread was "mis-used"? Seriously?

Not only that, but you've already posted in two of my Cheating and Abuse threads where YOUR ONLY STATEMENT was that you created this thread here. That was the ONLY THING you added to the threads. Those threads did not in any way relate to "bad dice", "lost games" or anything of that nature. How is your addition to those threads any better than what you deem to be a "mis-used thread"? Take a look in the mirror, pardner.

Besides you spelling partner wrong, you reminded me something. I also was talking about flaming threads and hijacked threads. That is what I was talking about on said threads.

Retallitory suggestions because you dislike a thread doesn't help. And you two should really look up the term "Hijcaking", because defending someones name isn't hijacking.
Lakad Matataaag!
