DOUBLE OR NOTHING DOUBLES TOURNAMENT (Registration CLOSED)

I am organizing a small 8-team single elimination tournament among doubles teams with BOTH MEMBERS HAVING A MINIMUM RANK OF MAJOR

the games will be played on randomly selected maps utilizing the following rules:
Sequential
Flat Rate
Unlimited Fortifications

If you are interested in playing, please post yours and your partner's name in this thread... The tournament is open for EIGHT TEAMS ONLY

When you post your team, please indicate who will be the "captain" (ie., who will be receiving my PM's)

#1: 1 vs 8 in Africa
#2: 4 vs 5 in Germany
#3: 2 vs 7 in British Isles
#4: 3 vs 6 in Europe

The Quarterfinal round is complete except for the ongoing battle between the #3 seed IT3USN/Steelplayin and the #6 seed Trevor33/Reverend_Kyle on the Europe map (Game #169696)

The first Semifinal match will pit the #1 seed A Mans Part/AndrewB and the #4 seed myself and Casper. The second semifinal match will be the #7 seed hwhrhett and resitnecdan versus the winner of the game still ongoing. In the biggest upset so far, hwhrhett and resitnecdan completely dismantled the #2 seed Scorba and Ronaldinho in an all-dragoons match up in Great Britain.

The semifinal matches will get underway once all the quarterfinal matches are finished.

Just a suggestion. Why wouldn't we start next round right away? It could save us time, if the game will be long...

I see your point but think of it as a football tourney. The next round doesn't start until all teams have finished the previous round.

OK we have the 2 semi-final matches set up:

In Game 191536, #1 seed A Mans Part/AndrewB will be taking on the #4 seed Casper and myself, in the Philippines

In Game 191540, we have the #6 seed trevor33/reverend_kyle taking on the #7 seed hwhrhett/resitnecdan, in Hong Kong

The Championship Match awaits the winners of the two semi-final matches and will take place on the Classic Map
