I played Risk a ton as a kid, and a lot in high school on a BBS (showing my age here), and sporadically ever since. I think there's a line in that old Dr. Katz show that sums up how hard it is to play as an adult: 'It's hard to go down to the basketball court and see if anyone wants to get in on a pick-up game of Risk'...
I looked sporadically for online Risk, settled on Lux for awhile, but there's only so often one can beat up on computer bad guys. Oddly enough, I'd given up hope (CC comes up surprisingly low when you google 'online risk'), but after playing a game called 'geosense' (worth looking up), I had a newfound desire for the game, and here I am.
I gotta say, tho, I can't imagine what it must be like to come in here and play with no previous risk experience. The learning curve is deceptively steep.
