Rotating Assassin

Postby max is gr8 on Tue Dec 30, 2008 11:33 am

Concise description:
  • In assassin usually you have 1 target, in this variant everyone's target rotates every X turns
  • You know the order of your targets. You can start weakening them early. But if you do that someone may steal the kill (and the win)
  • To distinguish between your next several targets I suggest a digit within the cross hair. (E.g. 1 inside means next target, 2 inside means the target after that etc.)
  • It means that you can protect a target from your opponents waiting for when the target is the one you need

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • Additional Gameplay
  • Which Equals more fun

Sounds fun, it would also be interesting seeing a randomized switch, but that would annoy some people I'm sure.
Anyway, it definitely sounds like something I'd play.

I think it would be a fun variation.
I imagine some others would fail to grasp the concept initially and then would complain of how the game play proceeded.
I do think it would be fun though, but I doubt it would be a popular enough variation to convince the powers that be to go to the trouble of creating and implementing the style.
