Optional Clan Field in Profile

Postby Vader_09 on Wed Jan 03, 2007 1:59 pm

I was just sitting here waiting on my turns and i thought of this. What if we could have our clan name, or the abbreviation of our clan name in front of the name we already have? like RS_Vader_09 or something like that? just wandering.

Perhaps it could be an option in the profile, to state what clan you are apart of.

I like the profile too......It should then show up under your avatar in the forums.

I voted yes, I like the eagle avatar, but it would be nice to be able to change it up once in awhile and still have some clan pride showing!

I like the idea of putting the text below the avatar.

But a lot of members change clans regularly, and if it would require Lack or Andy extra work to constantly update the text, then I would vote against it.

If you had an optional field like 'location' then users could just write their clan name and have it show up automatically. And whenever it changed they could update it themselves.

I like this suggestion, especially if the suggestion to have a clan ranking system was implemented. It would create some better rivalries because it would be easier to see which clan someone is a part of.

The best sounding option is an optional field in the profile.

Maybe the clan leader could have an option to select and remove clan names from peoples profiles. That would take some load off lack once it is done and prevent people from just putting whatever they want into an open field.

Still it's a good idea and it works fine, although it would be a good idea to add something to the profile like Andy said.
