ga7 is tipsy. ga7 hasn't reread. ga7 has no take on who's the thing, or any thing. ga7 finds pmc's kill good for 3 reasons: it wasn't the doc, scum is not a newbie, WIFOM avoided. ga7 will reread tomorrow. =;

You forgot that a kill is the better alternative to a lynch. We're still only dealing with 2 things.

No, he unvoted ace. Look at the votecount shortly after his unvote. His vote is on switchblade.

Well Ga7 could, since he and pmchugh didn't really see eye to eye. Think about it, Ga7 could be assimilated. We have no proof that a doctor protected him.

How is this a good thing???? If scum was experianced thats even worse. And if he was experianced, who's not to say he assimilated you the first night, and someone else the second night, but then you step in and try to convince us that only two have been recruited, while there are actually three.

Plus he keeps sending us on wild goose chases, which we always get town. But then pmchugh brings out to people with a bad vote count.

pmchugh wrote:
ga7 wrote:No kidding, everyone just jumped... Granted since we're facing only two scum it doesn't mean too much but town should take it more easy :?
Could you prod him Nate?

Confirmed townie and a good player too, you have a lot of influence.

As a nice rule of mine I ttend to think that quick moving wagons usually have scum on them. This case even more so as it puts you on the side of a (vitrually) confirmed townie.

switchblade 5 votes (ga7, F1fth, Stroop, sam_levi_11, ace1217)
Scoffin - 8 votes (ga7, pmchugh, animorpherv1, F1fth, Stroop, LSU Tiger Josh, dunc_2007, ace1217)

Two nice little people getting on the wagons early, F1fth and stroop.

I wouold vote for one but there is two many votes on switch atm. so FOS F1fth and stroop.

And this is ga7's answer, how he avoids the evidence and votes switchblade because he's inactive, and even though he's new, ga7 acts his OMGUS is actually a good scumtell.
And five days is plenty to start a new case.

ga7 wrote:I'm not stupid. If I was the doc and assimilated I would shut up and let my fellow thing use the claim in case he's in danger. I exposed the fact because it seemed important to know precisely how much margin we had to hunt down the thing. You guys sound like you want the doc to claim (which he could do if he's inexperienced)... Quit it.
Anyway, seems Switchblade has a good excuse for being inactive but the only thing he finds relevant after all this time is to OMGUS accuse me. My vote stays, it seems better than to try a new case when we only have a few days left.

By the way he avoided pmchughs case it looks like a fellow thing must have been either stroop or F1fth.

ga7 wrote:Since 8 people are not voting Switch isn't anywhere close to be lynched like that. Anyway I still feel he's the best lynch, mostly because I'm more suspicious of those who defended him... Although Stroop might be a good lead too... About F1fth I'm not so sure, as his motives seemed more reasoned.

Coincidence? And now pmchugh is dead, the person who accused these people. The pieces seem to fit to well to be wrong, but I'll let ga7 explain himself first.

I made an early mistake on that one, but at last count it was fixed...
switchblade 5 votes (ga7, Stroop, sam_levi_11, ace1217, animorpherv1)
Stroop (spiesr)
That was the last count before the lynch, If i had any other mistakes players had a good 3 more days to fix it :?

Another possibility, GA is the original thing, who was coincidentally told he was protected by the doc, his claim is completely verified, since even the doc has no way to counter him.

Ooo a pseudo case against me... Say, why exactly do you guys not have the balls to vote me exactly? Because you know it'll backfire and make you look bad so you'd rather have townies do the job? Because you're scum?

Opps nvm, I thought the thing choose either assimilate or kill.

Fake skimming much? If you are town, I'd have expected you to think for a minute why would the thing prefer to kill than assimilate if it worked like that. Instead we have this incredibly silly statement after days of discussion on how the thing works. Seriously?

But let's reread. We find this day 3:
william18 wrote:Perhaps the Thing just basically failed. But here are the scenerio's.

1) The Thing recruited another person
2) The Thing did not succeed at killing or assimilating.

The odds are on number 1.

Oh wait, that means you do know how things work. Or rather, how the thing works. *wide grin*

dunc_2007 wrote:You forgot that a kill is the better alternative to a lynch. We're still only dealing with 2 things.

True enough. We're 12 town, 2 things, which gives us a good edge still.

william18 wrote:

We have a doc out there that could prove that. You'd like to know, wouldn't you?

Redundant much? It is a good thing because we know it's not a newbie, and not a great player (as I still think targetting me night 2 was pretty dumb).

william18 wrote:Plus he keeps sending us on wild goose chases, which we always get town. But then pmchugh brings out to people with a bad vote count.

Oh I'm sorry I'm trying to hunt scum. I did push for Switch which was a mistake but no big loss; as for Skoffin I didn't expect her to get lynched without even a claim after a little weak defense. Don't blame me for wagons that started from day 1 bugging. Now tell me, what have you done to find scum these previous days? NOTHING. I just reread, and you did nothing. You were laying low, asking questions from time to time, that's it. You're really one to talk now after two failed wagons.

william18 wrote:And this is ga7's answer, how he avoids the evidence and votes switchblade because he's inactive, and even though he's new, ga7 acts his OMGUS is actually a good scumtell.
And five days is plenty to start a new case.

-If I avoided the evidence I wouldn't have voiced my thinking that Switch was a better case, duh. I didn't believe it was better evidence.
-Big news for you: OMGUS is a basic newbie scumtell. It never works with experienced players, but I saw plenty of noobs getting caught like that.
-5 days would have been enough to reach another lynch, considering the one with most votes get lynched. It wouldn't have been enough to have a good argument with thorough defense, claim, etc.

william18 wrote:Coincidence? And now pmchugh is dead, the person who accused these people. The pieces seem to fit to well to be wrong, but I'll let ga7 explain himself first

By your logic we should be looking at Stroop and F1fth, as they were the ones Pmc was suspicious of.

About the whole "The Thing recruited the doc and I'm either" argument: explain me why Ace didn't die tonight then. It would be incredibly stupid to not kill the vig if you were sure he wasn't protected; Ace could have perfectly killed and gotten lucky.

/ wrote:Another possibility, GA is the original thing, who was coincidentally told he was protected by the doc, his claim is completely verified, since even the doc has no way to counter him.
Once again, I'm not arguing, I'm just saying, there is no "100%" unless you are dead...

That actually makes more sense, I hadn't thought of it. I'm pretty sure the PM precised it was the thing attacking as opposed to the rogue, and that the doc received the same PM however. So at least one person knows I'm "100%" heh.

Anyway, the fact you want to lynch me on the little asumption that I'm 99% rather than 100% is ridiculous. If the doc, Ace and me make it to the endgame it'll be automatic win, and I find it silly to just trash that possibility when there's a ton of 0% sure people out there. Let me show you my original post again...

ga7 wrote:About the rogue, considering there's only 2 things right now out there, I think he should keep killing suspicious people.
I thought about it for a while but it does seem better to inform everyone: yesterday I got a message that the thing tried to kill/recruit me, but the doc protected me. Only I, the doc and the thing knew this. So basically we're facing 2 scum vs 14 players, hopefully with the lower odds the thing won't be able to recruit anyone else, and that means we're gonna have to clear the field a bit to find them out, hence why I think the vig is useful.
I don't really see a clear suspect right now as I believe a lynch was needed yesterday and as I thought Ace didn't notice he was hammering... Will reread to see if there was something else :?

This was when there didn't seem to have any relevant discussion except about the rogue kill. If according to /'s theory I was the original thing, give me a decent hypothesis as to WHY THE f*ck I WOULD HAVE POPPED UP WITH THAT! Please. It'll be fun. The drawbacks of doing this at the freaking beginning of the game if I was scum are so numerous I'd love to hear how to bypass them with a fully constructed theory. :P

spiesr wrote:Just a quick poll here:how many people suspect ga7 enough to lynch him?

Again, why not just vote me instead of being all pussy about it? It's not like there's any votes in the air or I'd be in danger of getting lynched. Fishing much?

Now, after rereading I find it hard to see a prime suspect except if Will is that stupid as to do that while actually being scum; I obviously wouldn't be against checking but I'd even feel more confident following Pmc's advice beyond the grave and go for Stroop, hoping it's not a framing kill... There's lower odds for that, as Pmc was pretty adamant on him and dangerous after being justified in his not wanting the Switch lynch, so scum could definitely kill him just to avoid the accusation.
