so plz explain.....what are clans??? i've seen things in the forums for them but i haven't been able to find out

1. What they are
2. what there purpose is
3. how to either start or join one

I realize this is probably a dumb question but if anyone could help me out or me to a thread where this question was already answered i would appreciate it. thx.

Clans have private forums and allow people to find teammates. They're not that great really, but if you insist:

To join an existing clan-look in the callouts forum, or wait for the assorted clans to spam this thread.

How do I create a usergroup/clan/confed?

There is one requirement to create a usergroup. You must have at least 6 total members. The leader then must fill out this form and use the Contact Form below.

Usergroup Name: <here>

Usergroup Leader's (admin's) name: <here>

Member 1's name: Link to player's profile
Member 2's name: Link to player's profile
Member 3's name: Link to player's profile
Member 4's name: Link to player's profile
Member 5's name: Link to player's profile
(Only include the first 5 additional members - you will have to add all players on your own)
