How often are you away to someplace with no access to a computer for 24 hours? You can get up at 6 AM and play your turns, and your safe until 6 AM the next day. And you can just not join any games until after the holidays. About the only way you can be away for 24 hours is if your plane crashes, you are marooned on an island for four years and your only friend is a volleyball named Wilson.

I've been away from a computer for periods greater than 24 hours at least 4 times in the past year, and a few times where I was just too busy to go online. I think it's depressing if they're all invasive anyway.

christmas is a wonderful time to be christian. even if you are a fakey-christian or jew-in-denial. or half-jew.

and in the spirit of christianity, i think it's only fair that bloody war continues as scheduled. after all, the crusades didn't just take a break for easter, now did they? no! of course not. not with all those heathen moors to kill! don't be silly.

this christmas, log in with that warm, fuzzy feeling, a glass of egg nog by your side, a doberman warming himself near the fireplace, your newly-unwrapped gifts strewn about you, and think...what would jesus do?

jesus wants you to be happy. and winning makes you happy. so this christmas, come back to conquer club and wipe out every last motherfucking army on the board.

What the hell it got to do with relegion? I have voted yes for day's grace because i have children... i like to spend time with them and with my family. Christmas is more about giving than being friendly to others. Not being arsy and selfish. This is just a game and if we miss turns because it is christmas then people by all means carry on with the turns

BUT DONT MOAN IF WE DONT PLAY THEM!!!

Well, how about each member selects a religion for their profile, like:

[] Christian
[] Jew
[] Muslim
[] Buddhist
[] Taosit
[] Hindu
[] Satanist
[] Pagan
[] Wiccan
[] Agnostic
[] Aetheist
[] Other....

And you get optional grace days on high holidays associated with those holidays. For example, Ramadan, Easter, Chinese New Year, New Year's Day (an American and Aetheist holiday -- the hangover day after drinking all night)....

Oh, and your birthday should totally count as a grace days!

Wait, you know what? f*ck holidays, because war never takes a holiday (and war isn't bloody fair either, is it?).
