Most Popular Forum Topic, was what I meant. I don't mean by post count though, but I mean value of entertainment...as the Off Topics and Flame Wars forums have some topics that are entertaining to read.

Perhaps also..."Best Feud", either in Games or in the Forum, as there are a few. I can see a lot of nominations and votes for this.

Shortest game
Winning battle royale (I think that's what it's called, it was the match with nearly 50 people)
Most helpful
Best positive/negative feedback ratio (At least 50 feedback recieved)
Biggest noob
Most games played
Most suggestions that have been implemented
Most positive feedback
Favorite Cartographer
Most active in forums
Most successful tornaments created
Most unique username
Funniest sig
Coolest avatar
Most Popular Forum Topic
Best Feud

Get those thinking caps on, and the keep the ideas coming.

Still need ppl to help host and find the information needed.

And we also need a DATE and TIME 4 the awards ceremony.

It seems to me like a lot of these awards are simple facts and therefore shouldn't be a part of the ceremony (because there is nothing to vote for).

I'm referring to:
-Shortest Game
-Winning Battle Royale
-Most postive feedback
-Most games played
etc.

What is the point in including them? They aren't subjective categories and the 'winners' can already be found and identified on the site. Also, many of them aren't deserving of awards in my opinion.

Additionally, if you are going to keep these categories you need to clarify many of them. "shortest game" - Does that refer to elapsed time? Number of rounds? Number of turns? Are you considering team games and singles? 3 players and 6 players?

Anyway, I think the categories should be more along the lines of the following:
-Best single post
-Best cartographer (playability)
-Best cartographer (design)
-Best thread creator
-Best single thread created
-Best tournament creator
-Best feud
-Coolest avatar
-Most helpful
-Funniest
-Best overall player

As you can see, I kept some of the same awards in this list but eliminated many of the ones that weren't subjective and added some others that I think would be good. Take this as you will and understand that I don't mean this is how the categories NEED to be. Just a suggestion :wink:

The player of the year award is were the judges nominate 10 players and other CC players vote for the winner. It is a popularity contest, not athe best players.

you need to make the above list into a poll for each as soon as possible

if everyone was to add some more suggestions to this thread - then these polls could be made even sooner

The cartographer poll could be made very quickly - as theres only so many people who have made a map.

Right, first, we are not nominating any1 UNTIL we have Co-hosts(at least 1 more) and judges(theres me, at the mo, needing 4 more at least) although, u can make them your fianl nominations l8r.
