It is greatly useful to see the scores of any player depending on the map he plays. And I think it would be even more useful if you could select some settings and get his scores only for those settings.

i.e., I could do a Map Rank of a player slecting "2 players", "Freestile" and another selecting "8 players" "sequential" and compare the diferences. Or a Map Rank slecting "escalating" and another selecting "no cards". That would tell if the player has a similar skill in those type of games, or on the contrary if he is a specialist on a particualr kind of game. Could lead to much interesting information.

Already done. Go the the game finder - there is a Map Rank button at the bottom. Make your selections, type in the player name and press Map Rank.

That was fast! ;-)

Sorry for asking for an already existing feature :-S

A cool feature would be, on the charts, a mark/line of where someone went premium, then you can see the whole chart go down at that point

Some people are reporting this, but I need more info to fix it.

Have you guys played any new maps - has this started happening after a game has finished on a new map?

When did this start happening??

i noticed it immediately after the most recent round of maps, although it was at the same time that the 'chart' feature became available.

although it should also be noted that both me and paradice have played ALOT more games than the average user.

Ok, so not everyone is experiencing problems so I'm trying to drill down into the differences.

I guess you can run ok from the gamefinder?

So it's a problem with the saved date possibly.

I think you've tried uninstalling plus uninstalling associated preferences also?

i can get the results, but the button never turns green, so next to the maps in game finder or start page, it doesnt get the new data.

and yeah i completely uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and its happening to me on 2 different computers, so im inclined to think that its not a messed up install or related to any type of install corruption or error.

No it looks like a nasty bug which is determined to fight until its last breath.

I have to try and replicate this somehow, I'm running your map ranks now and then some other debug.

Hang on - did you try running using the game finder selections and button instead of the left menu?
I ran your Map Rank and it finished green, no problems.

i did a map rank using the game finder page, however the results it gave me, i know to be false, it told me i only have 1 unique defeat on solar system (when i won a tourney on that map last month.) and it tells me that i have only 2 unique defeats on treasures of the galapagos. im very confused by all of this.

Ok, well, this is going to painful, but we are going to have to try and narrow this down somehow.

Can you try and narrow down if it's a problem with a specific map?

So map all on the game finder and then remove maps until you get a correct figure.

(You can use the game filter script to help).

What might be helpful is a list of maps/games you have played uptil the point where it was working for you.

I just wonder if it's something like adding the galapagos map to the data.

Try selecting all maps except galapagos on the gamefinder. (Use the Games Filter script you can do this in 2 clicks).

See what happens.

ok, this is what ive done, i did a maprank on only galapagos and the results came out normal, and now when i do a full scan the results appear to be proper and it actually finishes and the button turns green, however the numbers for the new maps are still not showing up on the gamefinder/start game page.

I have the same problem as above.Everyday I run map rank it runs through but does not highlight all boxes and seems to freeze when it's done running. My screen isn't updating either displaying which people I've beat for each medal and such.Any tips would be useful. Also I have like 19 unique opponent defeats on Treasure Map.It was listing them on the start game/game finder pages now it is not.I believe things may have went foul after I played the Operation Drug Map...This is the following message I get when checking error codes -Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'height'. Declaration dropped.

Here's a suggestion for ya Chipper...

In my games etc where you have the medals by names etc...

You could make these clickable - so that it then loaded game finder with the settings...

i.e. player1 (you) player2 (them) "Completed" and "Medal".

Suppose could also be done on the maps screen with the numbers?

i.e. player1 (you) "Completed" and "Map"/"Type".

Thoughts?

Ok, suspicion currently lies with playing a new map.

I do need someone to painfully go through their list of maps trying to isolate which map(s) is causing the problem.

The times I have seen this happen before is with corrupt logs - that sort of problem needs narrowing down by a process of elimination.
If I could replicate this problem then that is what I would proceed to do. So run Map Rank on the gamefinder and then remove maps one by one till it works.

The problem here is that Map Rank is stalling because it has not located all the games it needs to so the button does not go green and the unique numbers are not coloured as well as the sort column headers. This does not normally happen unless it finds a corrupt log.

Could it be the server not returning a log - for instance game# 1000001 won't load a full log at all anymore as the server times it out?

Or do you have error trapping for that?

When did that start happening?

Yeah, the problem can definitely be caused by a corrupt game log or a log that never returns. I need to speak to Lack now.
