Looks great! Although I'm not too keen on the water and beach. Looks like you just used the cloud rendering option.

so how are they going to be splitted up, are they going to be continents and sub-continents or just continents?, are the ports going to be added?

i was planning on having a Mexico continent (each Mexican "state" that borders the Gulf)... and a USA continent (each state that borders the Gulf)...plus ports...

is this a map of the water, or the territs surrounding the water, or both?

are hurricanes going to be involved? if not hurricanes, how about sea turtles as a means of traveling across the gulf...

I know this a bit off topic. But im thinking about the kids here. Could you pliss change the shape of the island which looks like the "Manhood" of a man? Seriously this quite disturbing. Extreme pervertic and need to be dealt with!.

Whats more disturbing his the shape of the Gulf, its looks like its going to eat it-.- this is why you need to change this above.

(Whats happens now its up to the mods)

try to research some wars or battles that took place in this area. I know it might not be totally original since the 'Caribbean Islands' map has some and it's basically the same region, but think about adding some ships that relate to that war/battle you find.

just a thought.

It doesn't really look that similar..... I don't think it needs to be changed. But you might want to alter it just to stop people complaining. Which I think alot of people would do if it progressed through the forge.

Because I live in this area, this map is greatly appealing to me. I really hope that it progresses through the foundry.

There hasn't really ever been any wars here, to my knowledge. I know that the Spanish conquistadors came to Florida seeking the fountain of youth, and they colonized most of the area, but other than that, it has a fairly quiet history.

I personally would like to see this map have circular gameplay like Rjbeal's Iceland map. The terrain is perfect for it. You can have short attack routes from central America to Cuba and Cuba to Florida. This will leave the large ocean in the center open for the legend and title. I would prefer that over having attack routes that span the whole Gulf. That's simply unrealistic.
