Well, I should hope so, too - I hope he drives on the right side of the road as well...
Is that how they teach you to drive in the UK?

Actually, I've just driven back from shopping today, and I've just realised I use my right foot for the accelerator AND the brakes, and my left foot for the clutch...

Right at this moment, I'm mimicking driving the car just to make sure I've got it right....I might kill a lot of people tomorrow when I go to work...
Yes...I thought it was a bit weird that it was considered normal to drive like that in the UK.
My grandfather drives an automatic.

what happens if you do do that?
I'm not quite sure what you're getting at...you obiviously don't automatically get into more accidents. However, it is noticeably harder to drive like that (I've tried it before), and if you don't have really good coordination (I would assume that good coordination is not a common attribute among old people) then it will make for one uncomfortable back and forth ride. Obviously there haven't been studies done on this

, but it seems as if it's more dangerous than the default method of right foot for gas and brakes. I've ridden in the car with my grandpa and I can tell ya between this and his road rage, it makes for one scary ride.

You are.
